Double-ended, incremental quantities. Needs a record from each end of the line.
Double-ended fault location
Locates a fault from records captured at both ends of the line, using incremental (delta) quantities in the time domain. The three phase-to-phase loops are solved together, so no faulted loop has to be selected and the zero-sequence impedance is never used.
Results are experimental and must be independently verified before any operational use.
